Hallgrímskirkja is a church in Reykjavík, Iceland.  In front of the church is a statue of Leif Eriksson.  The church’s steeple is one of the tallest structures in Iceland and doubles as an observation tower.  The church was designed to resemble one of Iceland’s many basalt lava flows.
